Bikeable Planet Gear - Support the Show
Posted April 26, 2011 by Will Boyd
I'm gearing up to begin filming for the relaunch of the Bikeable Planet video podcast. Hopefully, I'll begin having some "Quick Releases" out next month with full-episodes soon to follow. Along with the podcast, I'll be creating a bike commuting community here on this site. I've got a lot of really cool features I'm excited about...but can't tell you about just yet.
The vision for the video podcast is to provide bicycle commuting tips and information to people interested in getting into or getting better at bike commuting, a look into the issues, successes, and challenges of the world of bicycle transportation and transportation policy, and some entertaining peaks into bicycle culture and the bicycle lifestyle. Ultimately, my hope is to be able to travel to different cities and meet all of you interesting people who live to ride.
None of this is free. From equipment to travel expenses to hosting costs and software, producing both a video podcast and online community will take money. Once I get the show restarted, I hope to launch a Kickstarter…
